Not alone

Although I have been reading a number of blogs everyday, I only started blogging myself a few months ago. I read 2 blogs in particular, and have been following them for over a year now. There's the guy in Southern California who is a single father after losing his wife 2 years ago to cancer. And then there's the woman in Texas who has 6 kids, and who is alone most days as her husband travels for work.

Long story short, I read their blogs, and they have no clue. I have never left a comment, or tried to contact them in any way. Strange thing is...I never really thought about someone out there the same as me....who reads my blog on a regular basis and I don't even know it.

And then....I got a comment! (from someone other than my friends or family). Made me stop and think. Don't know why. There's nothing private about being on the internet. But for some strange reason, the comment surprised me. It suddenly made me realize that there might be others out there reading this. And I suddenly realized that I'm not alone. :-)
