TGIF

I had 3 days off this week, and realized one thing....It doesn't pay to take time off.
Everyone in the department is trying to use up their vacation before the end of the year. As a result, we are down about 50% in our department. I came back to work yesterday to a shitload of stuff to do. Today, it's a little calmer, but still really busy. I worked late last night to try and clean up some stuff. But, it's unlikely that I will work late tonight too.
Oh well....I just need to get through today, and then next week should be really calm, so I'll get caught up then. Mind you, I'm only working 2 days next week too :-)
I guess I shouldn't be complaining, should I?
