For the last couple of weeks, I've been trying to decide what I can replace my camera with. I've put a bit of money aside, and started looking on the internet for new cameras. What I really want is a digital SLR. Unfortunately, I haven't saved THAT much money. And, I simply can't justify spending that kind of money for a "nice to have". I thought about buying a new point-and-shoot, but didn't really want to spend $250 on something that I already have. After all, my old camera still takes great pictures...it's just the flash that doesn't work right.
So, I put off the decision until I could save up the money for a SLR. Then I was surfing on aeroplan.ca, and realized that I had enough points to buy a camera. A Canon 1000 IS point-and-shoot, 10 megapizel, 4 times zoom, digital camera! And all I had to do was use my points! The camera retails in town for about $229.99. But, I don't have to spend a cent. Just click here, click there, submit, and voila. Order received, and new camera is on the way!!
There's only one problem.
6 to 8 weeks for delivery is an awfully long time to wait!!!
