Sorry folks...I've been blog absent, as it's been a busy few days.
I babysat the niece while her folks were busy having a baby. She spent a day and half with me....and I'm still exhausted! I'm not used to having a 5 year old around. Not to mention a 5 year old that was bouncing off the walls. "I'm a big sister now!" she kept saying.
Because I had the neice with me all day on Thursday, I took that day off of work. So, Friday, was super busy trying to get caught up. I can't believe how far behind I can get by taking just one day off. I thought of working on Saturday to get caught up, but the weather was just too nice.
In fact, the weekend was wonderful. Beautiful hot sunny days. Spent a lot of time in the garden and getting the pool ready for this week. Hopefully, fingers crossed, I will be swimming in a couple of days!
