The weather for the last 4 weeks or so has been cloudy and wet. It's only around 15 to 20 degrees most days. It does seem a little colder and wetter than normal, but I think it's just because the last few years have been so hot and dry. This weekend, we decided to plant the rest of the garden, despite the raindrops. It was pouring rain on Saturday morning, but had cleared up by the afternoon. The ground was pretty wet, but I did most of the planting in containers, so it was ok. We spent the morning at the garden shop. Then spent the afternoon planting. The hanging baskets were done last week
But I planted the large containers
and the daisies (Daisies always make me smile!)
and the carnations (another of my favourites!)
and the tomatoes, and a few other misc flowers here and there (we usually buy too many to fit in the containers, and usually have a few things left over!)
Today, Hubby tried to get the grass cut, but it started raining again, so he only got the back done. But I planted the peas, beans, and the rest of the herbs. Now, we just have to wait for the sun to come out so we can sit outside and enjoy our garden.
