One of our favourite pastimes, as a group, is to bug the shit out of J. He is the 'baby' in the department, and can be somewhat naive. He's British, originally from England, and came to Canada a few years ago. So, he speaks with a glorious British accent. But, he also has funny words for common everyday things, so he gets bugged a lot (all in good fun).
During dinner, he decided he was going to try the horseradish with his steak. Well, he tried a bit, but was shocked at how hot it was, and how it burned his sinuses. He looked at the small container of it on his plate, and vowed, out loud, never to touch it again.
While we were eating, he noticed that A was spreading horseradish on his meat like there was no tomorrow.
"How can you stand that stuff?" J asked A.
Then, D piped up and said, "Oh, A's not eating horseradish. He's got a small dish of mashed potatoes for his steak".
A looked at D, clued in, and picking up his horseradish (aka mashed potatoes) off of his plate, offered it to J and told him to try it.

So J did. He took a big scoop of the stuff.
"Crap! That wasn't mashed potatoes!!"
Well, J was ok. We, on the other hand, were rolling on the floor laughing. And, apparently, the kitchen staff got a play-by-play of the incident from our waiter, so they were also laughing about it all.
