visits

I haven't been on the computer much this weekend. I've been busy visiting with people. It seems that no matter what I try to do this weekend, we either ended up with a houseful of company, or ended up visiting someone else.

Friday night, my Mother-in-law and her hubby stopped in for coffee. Well, we had such a good time talking and chatting, they ended up staying for about 3 1/2 hours.

On Saturday, I went shopping and stopped in to say "Hi" to my parents, and then my Grandma. I ended up having lunch with Mom and Dad, and then ended up staying at Grandma's for a few hours longer than I expected. Auntie C was there, and her and I spent a lot of time together. She's heading back home today, so I know I probably won't see her for awhile. I guess there was lots to talk about. I left my house at 10:00am in the morning, and didn't get home until after 4:00pm that afternoon.

I thought when I got home, we would just eat a quick dinner, and then I could get some cleaning and packing done. I pick up the 'Dallas Girls' from the airport tomorrow, and we leave for Victoria in the afternoon, and I haven't done any of my chores yet. But, then my Brother in law, and his wife asked if they could stop in with the kids. We don't get to visit with them often, and we jump at any chance to see the kids, so of course we said Yes!

Needless to say, I didn't get anything done last night either. Today is going to be a busy day with all the chores I have to get done before tomorrow!
