A river runs through it...

This is my attempt to get creative with my gardening. I took my front garden bed, and decided it needed something else other than daffodils. So, I decided to build a dry river bed through the garden bed, and give it a different look. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but you get the idea.

I kind of like it!

But, it meant digging a trench, planting a few things of grasses, and hauling about 100 lbs of rock from the back of the truck (by bucket) to the garden. My muscles are sore!
