I recently finished reading 3 books by Nora Roberts called "The Inn Boonsboro Trilogy"
It consisted of
- The Next Always
- The Last Boyfriend
- The Perfect Hope
I picked up the first one, because I loved the cover art. I do that more often than I care to admit. The old adage, "You can't judge a book by it's cover" doesn't apply to me. I've often not picked up a book because of the cover art, or vice versa. Hubby bought me the other two for my birthday / Christmas.
The trilogy was centered around 3 brothers, and each book looked at one brother starting with the oldest, and working down to the youngest. Typical Nora Roberts. Romantic novels with good character development and witty conversations. And happy endings. I like happy endings.
I'm not a big fan of hers, but sometimes, when I want something easy to read, and that I know will keep me interested until the end, I'll pick up one of hers, or one of Nicholas Sparks (their writing is about the same to me). Although, I'm beginning to dislike trilogies. Just the thought of having to finish 3 books to get to the end of the story can be somewhat off-putting for me. But, these 3 were the best of small selection of Nora Roberts books I have read.
3 1/2 out of 5 stars
