April showers, bring May flowers

The recent hot dry spell has everyone thinking "garden" lately. Including us. So, this weekend, we decided to take advantage, and buy our hanging baskets a week earlier than usual. Which was a good thing, because it was "Mother's Day Sales" this weekend at our local nursery, and we got these cheaper than we normally do...

We also picked up some tomato plants, and some herbs...

 

  

It felt good to get into the garden today. After a very long hard week at work, it was nice just playing in the dirt, planting, pulling weeds, and relaxing in the backyard.
