The Good and The Bad

The Bad
I had to work today. On Canada's birthday. Ugh!
It was a tough day at work. Compounded, I'm sure, by the fact that I did not want to be there.
The people at work today didn't want to be there anymore than I did - everyone was kind of grumpy today.
I left my watch at home, and felt like I was missing something all day.
When I finally did get home, I realized that I left my iPod at work.

The Good
The traffic today wasn't only light, it was pretty much non-existent. Especially going to work.
I managed to sneak out at lunchtime and buy something for hubby's birthday next week (I hope he doesn't read this before then!)
There is a heat wave on, and it was kind of nice to spend the majority of it in AC.
Because I worked the holiday, I now get a day off in lieu... Hello Friday! AND, it's the Friday before I take a week's vacation!

1 day down, 3 more to go... Then vacation time!
