Land of the living

I got sick on Monday.

On Tuesday, I called in sick to work, but ended up working from home. I think that was a mistake.

On Wednesday.... Well I can't really remember Wednesday. Or Thursday for that matter. 

Three days of fever, nausea, headache, stuffy nose, coughing, and, well... You get the idea. 

So tired too. I'm still really tired. But this morning I actually woke up feeling like I was part of the world again. It's a good feeling when you are getting over the flu. You get a sense of renewal almost. I want to clean the house, eat properly, and just generally take better care of myself. Now why can't I feel like that without going through three days of flu symptoms?
