Christmas recap 2014

So, what did you get for Christmas?

You know that I bought Hubby a guitar for Christmas, right? Well, he got me a new watch, a water-proof Kobo e-reader, and a dash cam for my car. Of course, we also got each other a number of other smaller gifts. Like books, a scarf, fluffy socks and Body Shop stuff for me, and pajamas, jeans, and a bottle of scotch for him. It was a great Christmas.

On Boxing Day, we had hubby's family over for brunch. We served scrambled eggs with bagels, lox and cream cheese, and an assortment of bread, crackers, cheese, and veges. It was a great success, and everyone had a great time.

The weekend after Boxing Day was filled with playing with our toys, and eating all the leftovers in the house. We have a lot of food left over, and I don't think I'll have to cook until the New Year!

We didn't go out to do the Boxing Day sales, but I did buy us a new vacuum cleaner. My parents gave us some money for Christmas, so we bought a Hoover upright cordless. I wanted a smaller vacuum than the old Electrolux I have. Just to do spot cleaning once in a while. Instead of digging out the big heavy machine every time. It was on sale at London Drugs for $100 off, so I drove out this morning and picked it up.

All in all, it was a great Christmas. And now, it's back to reality. I have to go back to work on Monday, and I'm working all week. Although, I do get the 1st off, but will likely end up working from home.
