the hydrangea

We cut back the hydrangea bush today. Well, actually "we" didn't. Hubby did. And he cut it back a lot more than I expected. It used to be about 6 times this size...

I really hope it grows back. I'm sure it will, but in the meantime, it looks just a little pathetic.
