Reality TV just across the street

In lieu of working on Canada Day, I got today (the Friday before my week vacation) off of work. So, I went shopping in the morning, and cleaned the house up for company tomorrow. But this afternoon, I sat down in the living room, and watched the guys across the street.
The house across the street has just recently sold. The new owner hired a landscaping company to come in and take out a bunch of the bushes and trees in the yard. So, I watched them for awhile. It was actually kind of weird how it sucked you in. My husband called it "true reality TV".
I don't know if they had a permit to cut down the trees or not, but I'm not going to complain. It improved the front of the house substantially, and even improved our view a bit. And made for some interesting watching.
