Book Review

I recently finished this book... Nutshell, by Ian McEwan

It was very different to say the least. It was written from the perspective of an unborn child. A very original scenario, and an interesting read. Online, it has been described as "a preposterously weird little novel... more brilliant than it has any right to be". There is a lot of chatter online about this little book, and the hidden meanings and prose in the book. From my perspective, it was different and original enough to keep me engrossed. But the perspective of the main character in the book, was better than the actual story. I gave it 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.
