The madness before the madness

It was a day off for me today.
It started with me going grocery shopping. At 7:30am. In the snow!
Then logging into work to do “just a few things” – which took me longer than expected.
Then doing laundry – only to have my washing machine stop working (we got it going again by unplugging and plugging it back in a few times – but not before I freaked out a bit about it all).
At the end of the day, I really needed a drink. So, I got out the fixin’s and made myself a hot buttered rum…
