Sad Day

I went to a funeral today for a co-worker of mine. We hadn't worked together for about 10 years, but back in the day we spent 13 years together at the same company. He was a great guy, and always smiling and in a great mood. I never heard him complain about anything!
The funeral was great, but very long and crowded. There were a lot of people there. Including a lot of ex-co-workers that I haven't seen in 10-15 years. It was great catching up with everyone, and brought back a lot of memories of some really good times.
On the way home, I got stuck in traffic. There were a lot of first responders lining the overpasses of the Highway, because a fallen police officer from Abbotsford was being transported from the downtown hospital to an Abbotsford funeral home. The police, fire, ambulance and other cars were blocking the far lane on each overpass over the highway. Which caused a huge traffic nightmare. But, it was hard to be upset about it, because it was actually really touching to watch.
I tried to get pictures, but it's hard to when you are driving...
