Conversations - Bird's nest

We have a robin's nest on a fence post hidden in the wisteria bush...

Me: Hey, come here! You can see the babies!
Him: I don't need to see them. Is Momma there?
Me: No. Oh look! I can see one!
Him: Baby robins are so ugly
Me: OMG so ugly!! I thought babies were supposed to be cute?
Him: All beak and big eyes, nothing else.
Me: Totally!
Him: Get away from there before Momma catches you.
