It's official. Keena is not going to be staying with us for much longer.
The person who gave her to us is going to take her back, or find somewhere else for her to live. It wasn't an easy decision, but she has not been working out for me. She's a great pup, and so damn cute, but extremely demanding and very high maintenance.
For reasons explained on the weekend (about working from home, and not being able to be interrupted), things came to a head today. I got in trouble at work for leaving a call when it was not complete. And the reason I left is because I could not continue because Keena was barking at the dog next door. Right next to the window in the office.
I'm upset about the whole situation. It's been a very hard decision to let her go, but I have not been able to work with her in the house. I have been trying to manage, but having a great deal of difficulty controlling her.
I'm upset....I really did want this to work out....and A's upset too. But he understands me, and what the issues are, and is supportive. Perhaps more so than I deserve.
