I paid $7 for a 12 point wrap today.
Wrap Zone. Thai Tanic chicken wrap. 12 points people! 12 points!
Here's the story....
I needed to get out of the house today. Keena was being surprisingly calm this morning (that changed when I got back however...but that's another story). Anyways, Keena was calm, but work has been insane. We have been short staffed all week, and most of the extra stuff is landing on my shoulders. So, I needed a break.
I drove to London Drugs to pick up a few things. On the way back, I stopped at the Wrap Zone. I used to go to the Wrap Zone like once a week. It is good food....and not greasy like burger joints or other fast food places. So, I thought to myself "how many points could a wrap have in it? It's gotta be something like 7 or 8. At the most 9. Definitely not more than 9." So, I went and purchased one.
Came home, unwrapped the wrap, and chowed down.
Then decided to go online to see if I could find the nutritional information and calculate how many points they really were. Weight Watchers calculates points based on how much fat, fibre and calories something is. The higher the calories and fat, and the lower the fibre, the more points you have.
12 points!
Considering I only get 26 points in a day...well that is a lot for one meal. And is usually reserved for you bigger meal of the day...in my case dinner.
Looks like I'm eating salad for dinner tonight.
