Movie review

We've rented a couple of movies the last 2 weeks, but I haven't blogged about them yet.
Here they are....

The Other Boleyn Girl -- A chick flick worth getting just because you love period movies that involve royalty and wonderfully sexy actors (like Eric Bana). If you don't, don't bother...you'll probably be bored.

The Bank Job -- Don't bother. Boring, and horribly directed.

Smart People -- Honestly, I don't see the attraction to Ellen Page. Sassy teenagers with large vocabularies are not my style. I guess they remind me too much of the "snob hill" girls that I went to school with. Underneath the attitude and all the big words, is just a spoilt girl who wants her own way. While I didn't love Ellen Page's character in this movie, I loved the movie. Kudos to Thomas Haden Church. I loved his part in this movie, and will have to watch for anything he does in future. Overall, the movie made me laugh, kept my attention, and was wonderfully written, directed and acted. Definitely worth seeing.
