We went to see The Curious Life of Benjamin Button on New Year's Eve. The movie (I thought) was great. The service at the theatre, was horrible. I spent over 40 minutes in line just to get popcorn and a drink. But we had a good time despite that.
New Year's Day...we went to A's Uncle's place to put in a new kitchen faucet. We were supposed to do a bit of running around after that, but I was feeling very sick to my stomach. So, we came home. I guess I still have a touch of the flu. I was feeling better on New Year's Eve, but feeling really sick today. So, we came home, and I crashed on the couch.
My car broke down again (the brakes seized up again) on New Year's Eve. So, I called BCAA this evening and had the car towed over to the shop. It'll stay overnight there, and the shop will (hopefully) be able to fix it in the morning.
They say that whatever you do on New Year's Day, sets the tone of what the rest of the year will be like. So, I guess I'm going to do a lot of sleeping in 2009. :-)
