Last night, we went to an association dinner related to A's work. The guest speaker was Dr. Art Hister. He's a MD that has given up private practice to do speeches, books, and seminars on living well. He has a radio show, and guest spots on the local news, and is kind of a local celebrity.
The dinner was great. Really good food. And Dr Art's speech was funny and very entertaining. I was hesitant to go, because I knew absolutely no one at this function. But, I'm glad we did go. I had a wonderful time, and enjoyed our evening out.
