My sister-in-law and I participated in a garage sale at my neice's school today. It was the first time the school put on a garage sale as a fund-raising event. It wasn't a great success...there were a lot of people that didn't show up, and it wasn't advertised well, so there were not a lot of buyers either. But, I did manage to sell about 1/2 of the stuff I brought, and made a whopping $42.00 (although, I spent $4.00 on other stuff, so my net profit was $38.00)
But, it was fun to spend the day with C, and I enjoyed meeting all the other parents from the school.
