I think I'm sick. I've had a headache for 2 days now, and my stomach is upset. It's either a flu bug, stress, or post-Olympic blues. But, I can't take time off of work, because I've already booked time off this week to take Grandma to the doctor to get her test results back. That will be on Thursday.
Meanwhile, I'm not liking my job right now. I don't feel challenged by it, and I'm getting bored. But, we do have a conference in May coming up, and I've been asked to participate, so that is something to look forward to.
The weather has turned back to winter this week. It's been colder lately, and rainy and, and...well, normal for this time of year. It is so unlike the spring type weather we had during the Olympics.
Speaking of Olympics, the Paralympics are now on in Vancouver and Whistler. We are currently 3rd in the medal count with 2 Gold (won yesterday), 3 Silver, and 1 Bronze. Although, the vibe in the city isn't quite what it was during the Olympics. Maybe it's because of the weather.
I started a new book on the weekend. Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol". So far...it's typical Dan Brown. Exciting to read, but the story isn't too believeable. That's ok though. I like his writing style, so I'm finding the book interesting.

You get upset with your jobs every few years, but hang in there. Sorry I'm not home to take Ga to the Dr. Take your vitamins and maybe try Olive Leaf..it's good once you get the bug...it's anti-viral and anti-bacterial. It's so nice and summery here we're going to hate to head home and step back into winter! Love you.
