Happy Birthday Canada!
Just a couple of reasons as to why it's great to be Canadian....
Our country is taller than it is wide. Did you know that? That's one heck of a lot of room for the same number of people that live in the state of Texas!
We are bordered by 4 oceans, and only one Country.
We are the home town of people like Oscar Peterson, and William Shatner. There are many, many, many others too, but need I say more?
Diversity in nature, diversity in culture. From the Rocky Mountains, to the plains of the Prairies, to the cold of the Artic. From the aboriginal people to the multiple immigrant populations. We even have 2 official languages, because one just isn't good enough.
Canadian Pride. It came out big time during the Olympics. That's when the world was able to see what we see everyday. The pride our people take in our country, and what it means to be Canadian.
