Friday recap

I'm sorry I haven't been posting my usual daily posts lately. Travelling for work sucks. Especially when I'm on the road the same amount of time that I'm at home. I have a lot of posts to catch up on and a lot of pics to post. But, just can't find the time. So, here's just a quick recap for you to keep you up-to-date until I can get back into normal life again.

1) Work continues to be super busy. It's hard to do 2 jobs, and travel, and find time for anything else. The good news is that there is someone new coming on board next week to relieve me in the management duties. It means one more trip to Victoria next week, and then I'm free! I can't wait!

2) The new car is great! Love it! Haven't sold the old car yet. Hoping to make head-way on that this weekend.

3) I'm on vacation soon! Just for a week. But, it's a welcome relief to know that I will have a whole week to relax, and spend time at home.

4) I now have 8 followers! To the "new" followers, welcome to my blog! Hope you enjoy what you read, and feel free to leave comments.

5) I'm setting up the CEO of my company with a friend of mine. They both live in the same town, they are both professionals, they are around the same age, and both find it hard to meet people when they work so much, and travel for work so much. The big setup is next week (either Wed or Thurs), and I really hope they connect! I think they are both wonderful people, but it's hard to know if they will like each other. I should have been a match-maker in my life. I absolutely love finding people to setup together. I've done it a few times now. One couple actually got married. Another dated for 6 months, but it fizzled out. Another couple didn't go anywhere. So, my track record is 1 for 3. I hope this setup next week bumps my average up!
