We had some gorgeous weekend weather this weekend. After a few chores on Saturday morning, and a visit to Grandma on Sunday morning, I spent the rest of the afternoon on both days sitting on the back deck, reading a book (more on that later), flipping through magazines, sipping on mojitos, and floating in the pool… Simply enjoying the sights and sounds of nature all around me. I was floating around in my pool chair, and noticed a baby dragon fly that was sunning himself on the edge of the pool deck. Cute little thing. With a brilliant blue belly, and blue spot on his “tail”. He allowed me to get surprising close to him. At one point, he flew up, and around, and landed on my toe. I leaned back in the chair, so my toe wouldn’t go into the water, and watched him for a few minutes. He was so small, that I couldn’t even feel him. I wiggled my toe, and he flew back to the pool deck again, where I tried to get a few pictures. Ain't he cute?
