Bat crazy

I saw a bat in the back yard tonight. We were standing around outside, and this black thing swooped down over the pool a few times and then flew away. It was kinda cool, and kinda freaky all at the same time. I know there are bats in the neighbourhood (living so close to the nature reserve) but I never really want to see one that close.
