Farmer's Market

We are all about buying local, fresh, and pesticide free. So, I was very happy when Meridian Meats opened a new Farm Market location near to work. They have a location in South Surrey, and Langley, but it's just a few miles too far to travel to on the weekends.

So, I visited the North Van location on Friday at lunchtime, and while I only bought a few things, I know I will be back!
Today, on the way to Safeway, we stopped at the local Firehall Farmer's Market in Delta to get some fresh veges.

We buy what we can there first, then go to Safeway to get what else we need.

Along with veges, we also got some apple strudel, poppy seed loaf, and apricot butter!
