The Empress

So, we decided to take off for a few days and check into our favourite hotel - The Fairmont Empress in Victoria. The last time we were there, we got upgraded to a big room on the 7th floor of the hotel. I was certain this time it would not happen again, and that we would get some teeny tiny small room and just not have the same experience we did last time. I made sure to tell hubby that, so he would not get his hopes up. So, imagine my surprise when we were told that we were upgraded to a 2 room suite!
The first room was the living room, complete with (non-working) fireplace, big comfy arm chair, couch, desk, and big screen TV. Oh, and a washroom.
As you walk through to the next room...
You go into the bedroom, and see the chaise lounge chair, and a table and chairs...
And the King Size bed (so comfortable!), with the front door and the other bathroom off in the corner
Looking back onto the room, I can't believe how lucky we got!
We even got complimentary turn-down service (a first for me!), and a view of the harbour. We couldn't have asked for anything better!
