eating natural

With all the Halloween candy in the house now gone (we didn't buy as much as we usually do), I'm going to try and start to eat only healthy foods from now on. There is a still a few things in the house that need to be used up first, but my focus lately is on healthy and natural.
Here is a picture of my scone, with jam, for breakfast the other day...
Note that the jam on the right is strawberry jam, store-bought, made by Smucker's. And while the ingredients don't have too many odd sounding items in the list, it certainly doesn't look like the left hand side. That is my home made strawberry freezer jam that I made earlier this year. It contains Strawberries, and sugar, and pectin. That's it.
Besides the difference in colour, there was a definite taste difference. The Smucker's didn't taste bad. The Smucker's tasted like strawberry jam. But mine tasted like real strawberries.
