Way up there

I checked into the Hyatt in Houston today. I ended up with room 2835. The 28th floor. I didn't realize the hotel was that high. Neither did I realize that the elevators are GLASS elevators. I'm afraid of heights, so it really freaked me out!
Coming down after I checked in, I prayed that I would be in the "other" bank of elevators, and not have to watch the street as I travelled down. And behold, I was granted that wish. Only to realize as the doors opened, that the elevators on the inside were also GLASS! So, instead of watching the street come flying at me as I rode downwards, I got to see the bar, lobby and restaurant fly towards me.
These are pictures of the hallway, and looking down into the lobby area. The "railings" were really high (I think to prevent people from jumping off). But I think it looks kind of artistic...
