backyard work continues

Our backyard work continued today. We spent most of the day working hard. The beans and strawberries have a new friend... Mr. Donkey got some flowers in his cart...

The peas and cucumbers got planted...

And we worked on the "patch" at the front of the house by the neighbours driveway. It's still a work in progress, but it's starting to look better than it was. I don't have a "before" picture, but this was completely covered in weeds. We cleared it all, planted some heather, and a fern, and put some roses in the wine barrel at the bottom...
