Christmas

The gifts have been purchased.
The presents are all wrapped.
The house is clean.
The menus have been planned.
We are both off work now.
And the fun can begin.
I have four days off work. Today is my catch up day. Which is nice, because most years (unless I take a vacation day) I don't get a day off before all the fun begins. Today, we went grocery shopping, I did all the dishes, and the laundry, and just generally tidied up the house. I might bake cookies tonight. Or I might just kick back and relax. The next three days will be full of festivities. Lots of cooking, running around, and gift giving. I'm so looking forward to it! Although, it all does seem to happen so fast!
