freakin me out

I got a phone call from CCRA saying I owe them money.
I got an email at work for someone on Linked In that is my contact, asking me to be my contact again. But, I don't have my work email linked to Linked In.
I got an email at home telling me someone had my password, and told me what that password was. It was an older password that I haven't used for a while. Turns out, it is a scam, and no, they don't have my password, or access to my computer. But it kind of freaked me out.
I can't believe the number of scams and things that are out there. I don't trust anything anymore, and I can totally see why some people fall victim to all this.
