New drinks

I found something new to drink. It's a gin. I wouldn't call myself a huge gin fan. I do like it, and a gin and tonic is my usual "go to" drink. But, I don't like it as much as hubby likes his scotch. However, when we saw this at the liquor store...

... well, we just had to buy it. It's called the Empress 1908 Gin, and it was created in collaboration with the Empress Hotel in Victoria, and named after our favourite -- the Empress 1908 cocktail. (which, by the way, you can't get anymore! - But that's another story!)
The first thing you notice is the blue colour of the gin in the bottle (although in the picture it looks more purple than blue. In real life, it looks dark blue). The second thing you notice is that it turns pink when you mix it with tonic.
And then you taste it. It has to be the best gin and tonic I've ever had! YUM!!
