Victoria part 3

I'm still sick. I took a lot of decongestants and pills to get through the 2 days in Victoria. Today, I'm taking it easy, detoxing from all the pills (I'm not taking anything except vitamins and ColdFX and lots and lots of tea), and just catching up of my blog and reading.

While in Victoria, I noticed how beautiful the gardens were. They had a rose garden, a tropical garden, and lots of flowers everywhere.

Everywhere you go in downtown, there are these old fashioned lamp posts with hanging baskets of flowers...

The Empress Hotel is partially covered in vines...

I'd never seen this before. It's called an "Angel's Trumpet". Very cool...

This is an Arbutus tree. It sheds it's bark (not it's leaves) and when it does that, the trunk of the tree looks reddish in colour.
