I found a very funny post HERE at Michele's Blog on It's a Dog's Life.
(PS - I love her blog because she has the same background as I do!)
Here is my version of Where to Retire, Vancouver Edition...
You can retire to Vancouver, where...
1) You make over $150,000 a year, and still can't afford to buy a one bedroom apartment.
2) You eat Dim Sum and/or Sushi at least twice a week even though your background is English/Italian. You also speak enough Chinese and Japanese to order a meal at all your favourite restaurants without having to resort to English. Which is good, because the waitresses don't speak English anyways.
3) You have been skiing and sailing, on the same day.
4) You hate Toronto, but aren't quite sure why.
5) You have never been to Surrey, but you're pretty sure you have to cross a bridge to get there.
6) You recycle, compost, shop only for organic produce, and commute to work by bicycle (even in the dead of winter). If you own a car, it's a Hybrid. Yet, you love your ipod, can't live without your blackberry, and are addicted to video games, facebook, and twitter.
7) The 4 seasons are Rain, Rain with sunny periods, Buckets of Rain, Rain occasionally mixed with a few snow flakes.
