TGIF

I love it when I can solve a large issue on my own at work. I've been working on an issue for 3 days now, and I finally found the answer today! Woohoo! I can relax now.

I like working with the people I work with. Most of them, anyways. One guy in particular...he and I spent an hour and a half on the phone today hashing out problems, sharing information, and helping each other. It was nice to spend time with him. Our jobs don't overlap often, but when they do, it's nice to know we get along and work well together.

I'm feeling drained. It was a short week...only 4 days, because I had Monday off. But it was an intense one. A lot of large issues that took a lot of brain power to sort out. I need a few days off. Thank goodness it's the weekend!!

I think I might go shopping tonight. Shopping has always been a great way for me to relax. Even if I don't buy anything. Just wandering around the stores and shops, looking at different things, for some reason, is relaxing for me. That and cross-stitching. But my brain is feeling fried, and my eyes are crossed from staring at the computer screen all week, so I think shopping will trump cross-stitching tonight.

The weather forecast is calling for sunshine all weekend. I can't wait to get out into my overgrown, overly saturated, yet starting to bud, garden. You know it's Springtime in Vancouver when you are gardening in the mud!!
