new tea

While out shopping last weekend, I came across a little tea store in the mall. So, I took a few minutes, went in, and ordered a cup of Earl Grey and had a nice relaxing look around the store while sipping my tea. But, of course, I ended up buying some more tea.

I bought a couple samples of Tea Forte's winter line....

The Winter Chai, is Rooibos tea with spices. I've tried Rooibos tea in the past (because it's herbal, and has no caffeine), but I have to admit, I'm not a big fan. I thought the Chai spices would tone down the Rooibos aftertaste, but it did not. If you like Rooibos tea, you will like this one. But I didn't.

The Hazelnut Truffle on the other hand... What a wonderful treat! It does have caffeine in it, because it's made with Black tea. But, it's creamy, and sweet. What a decadent way to start my morning! And just look at those little teepee's! That's how the tea bag comes... in a little teepee. So cute!
