Power outage

Our power was out today. Don't know why exactly. It went out around 2 this afternoon, and came back on 8 hours later. You should try that. Try living without electricity for 8 hours. It was interesting.
We are lucky in that we have a gas fireplace (heat) and a gas BBQ (food), so we are able to survive quite comfortably. But it is amazing how dependent we are on electronic gadgets, the Internet, and even TV to keep us entertained.
