work -- too much work

My trip to Houston did only one thing for me... gave me more work to do. We are implementing a new computer system, so I now have to do my job twice. Once in the real world, and once more in the virtual world. It's called running parallel. And it's a necessary part of any software implementation.  But there is one thing no one tells you... IT TOTALLY SUCKS!
How else do you explain that it's 9:00pm and I'm still working!
At the very least, I'm now working from home. That was the idea when I bought a new laptop. I wait in the office until traffic dies down, then boot it home in record time, and then sit comfortably in the kitchen / office / living room / outside, and finish off whatever I was working on.
But, it's time to logoff now... it's been a long day!
