Hail Storm

I got stuck in a hail storm on the way to work this morning. It was pretty freaky. It came down so hard and fast, there was about 1/2 inch of ice on the roads.

I got stopped just before the Queensborough bridge because a bunch of trucks couldn't get enough traction to make it over the bridge. It was a pretty dicey drive - until I got across the bridge. Then, nothing! No rain, no hail, no ice, and smooth sailing the rest of the way to work.
