Change is good. I've had so many changes in my life the last 2 months...especially when it comes to electronic stuff...
1) I learned a new job when I worked in Accounting this month and last.
2) We had a new incident tracking system installed at work to use with my usual job.
3) We got a new TV. New remote control to learn.
4) Then we ordered digital TV. Another electronic box in the house, more stations to learn, and yet another remote.
5) Then we moved A's gaming TV upstairs. Yet another remote!
6) I ordered a new camera. While the settings are similar to the old, it's still something new to learn.
But by far, the biggest change for me has been #2...work. I use this system 8 hours a day. And I've had to relearn how to do my job. While the others in the department have been using it for a month now...I've been working in Finance most of that time, and haven't had the opportunity to play with the system as much as the others. But I'm managing.
Although, I have to say...my attitude about the system is far better than some people's. There are 2 people in our department that are completely against the new system. And are giving every argument possible against it. Like if they complain enough, the system will go away, and we'll get to use the old one again. NOT! Ain't going to happen. So, why not make the best of the situation? Why complain? Why make life more difficult? I don't understand.
