I am...

Wearing: sweat pants, a t-shirt, and flip-flops...my typical work from home gear. It's all about being comfortable.

Drinking: tea (of course). This morning it's "Creamy Earl Grey". That's Earl Grey tea with a touch of vanilla. Served with a touch of honey, a splash of milk, and in my favourite "Bodum" mug. mmmmm!

Eating: Nothing yet. But, I'll probably have Cheerios for breakfast in about an hour or so.

Listening to: the sounds of the neighbourhoud. It's nice outside, and I have the windows open. Lots of squirrels and birds around. You hear the occasional loud truck or motorcycle from the highway, but basically it's really quiet. It's what I love most about this house.

Craving: homemade chocolate chip cookies. I should make some.

Worried about: the repairs that we need to get done on the front deck.

Wondering about: the noises we heard last night. Cat fighting with squirrel. Or raccoon fighting with cat. Not sure....but someone (or something) was getting beat up pretty bad.

Missing: swimming in my pool after work. The colder weather (and the fact that we don't heat our pool) has had me thinking twice about firing up the boiler now.

Wanting to: Get the house organized. We have so much stuff!

Reading: One Fifth Avenue by Candace Bushnell.

Dreaming about: Taking a trip somewhere romantic.

Thankful: that it's Friday. And I am looking forward to the weekend.
