flowers

The reason my house smells so wonderful, is the bouquet of flowers my husband bought for me. Especially, all the lilies in the bunch. There were only a few that had opened when the flowers were delivered, but now it seems that another one opens each day.

At 9:00am, it was trying really hard to open.

At 2:30, it had opened up a bit more, and was smelling wonderful.

At 9:00pm it was almost fully opened. I snipped off the ends (what are those things called??) to keep the pollen from landing on the tablecloth...once that stuff gets onto something, it doesn't come out!
