daily photo blogs

I had posted some time ago, about a blog that I found. It's one post everyday, of one picture everyday of a town called Sofia in Bulgaria. The blog is called Sofia Daily Photo and the pictures that this person takes are simply amazing.
Well, it turns out that this blog writer is actually a member of a group of people that all do the same thing...but from different parts of the world. It's called City Daily Photo, and basically, you sign up, then create a blog for your part of the world, and then post one picture everyday from your area. The results are hundreds of people who belong to this group, and a ton of blog sites to visit. Want to go to Dublin? Search for Dublin, and you find 3 bloggers who post pics of the area.
The results are very surprising. Because it's one photo everyday, you tend to see different weather patterns in different parts of the world. While most of European and North American blogs are shots of snow and cold, the Australians are basking in heat waves at the beach. And, while some of the posts are lacking, I am pleasantly surprised at how many are absolutely beautiful. I've always had a keen interest in photography, so these sites really appeal to me.
