Remember the Time Traveler's Wife book that I posted about here. Well, I finally rented the movie on the weekend. (I know, I know...I take forever!!)
I loved the book. And while I had a hard time figuring out how they were going to turn it into a movie, they actually did a pretty good job. Maybe it was the fact that I had read the book, that made me understand all the twists and turns of the movie. But, hubby watched it too. And he didn't read the book. So I asked his opinion. While he said it was a little hard to follow at the beginning, he got the jist of it in the end. Although, he said it was definitely a chick-flick. And sad. Which it was. Which is strange, because I don't remember the book being so sad.
Anyways...both book and movie get a thumbs up from me. But, I'm very glad I read the book first, as it was better than the movie. Except the parts where they showed Eric Bana's butt. Mmmm!!! Those were the parts where the movie was better than the book!!

PS - it was interesting to note the Brad Pitt was the executive producer of the movie. I didn't know he did that. I just thought he acted, not produced.
